Here’s how the previous owner described their offering.
Welcome to the “Car Guy” trailers website. as the statement above mentions, we started the trailer sales as a way to serve our fellow car guys/ clients from the other part of our business (Specialty car sales and auto restoration, Hot Rod and Muscle car building, ect.) kept asking us if we could find them a good trailer for their race or show car. We couldn’t.
That’s when the light bulb went off and we decided to just become our own source for car hauling trailers. If you’ve been down to the local trailer dealer you’ll find trailers for lawn mowers, construction, hauling hay, ect. but what you won’t find is a trailer that’s built to suit your needs, and look good doing it.
The name “Car Guy Trailers” I often say is a little corny but when it comes to understanding what a true “Car Guy” needs in his trailer, well, it takes one to know one I guess. For example, all of our steel open trailers since day one have come with Loading Lights and a Winch Mount Receiver from the very first trailer we’ve built. Why? Well, I’m the guy who’s car munches the drive shaft as I leave the line at the end of the night, and they pull me onto the return road next to the Drag Strip. I walk to get my truck and trailer and by the time I return they’ve already killed the lights, leaving my to pull my broken car onto the trailer with my flashlight rolling down the deck, using a ratchet strap to pull my car up. I wish that was an isolated incident, however it has repeated itself a couple times now. The pic above of the Blue Cobra on the Silver Eliminator Tilt? Yesir, that’s me, at the Road Course. Pulling a C-20 out of a farm field at 2am? You guessed it- me again.Hopefully you’ll find our site informative and useful in your trailer search, though I’m sure that if you’re reading this you’ve already found your next trailer right here.
